Behind WatchCenter is Filippo Meduri, whose connection to watchmaking began long before the company's founding. Born and raised in Sicily, Filippo comes from a family deeply rooted in the art of watchmaking: a passion and craft passed down through generations by his grandfather, uncle, and brother. Surrounded by fine timepieces from an early age, he developed a profound appreciation for mechanical precision, restoration, and timeless design.
In 2016, Filippo opened his first watch boutique in Palermo, followed by a second location in 2018. These ventures allowed him to further develop his expertise while serving a growing community of collectors and watch enthusiasts.
After relocating to the United States, Filippo continued refining his knowledge and skills while working alongside respected companies within the watch industry. In November 2019, he established WatchCenter in San Francisco, bringing together generations of watchmaking heritage with a modern, client-focused approach.
Today, Filippo specializes in sourcing, servicing, and curating exceptional timepieces from renowned maisons such as Rolex, Omega, Cartier, and Jaeger-LeCoultre.
